Their Diavolo pizza was the perfect amount of spice. Pizzas are big enough for 2 to share or 1 if you're very hungry. Would definitely be back. Do not waste your money on a pizza or wine right by the Rialto. Everything was double the price and it looked half as good.

Overall we enjoyed the food and the waitress was nice enough, but it is way too expensive and I feel like we got ripped off. She encouraged us to get the lobster pasta, which sounded great. It said 25 euros on the menu, and she told us it came with two plates. But she didn't clarify that we would basically be ordering two of that dish (so paying 50 euros instead of 25). There was also very little meat in the lobsters. The pasta it came with was good though. We also got a margherita pizza, which was okay, but more like a plain cheese pizza - it didn't have chunks of mozzarella or any basil. We also got a fresh salad, which was clean and tasty. The ingredients were apparently fresh out of the garden. They also gave us bread without asking if we wanted it and charged us 8 euros. I'm not sure if this is a customary thing in Italy, but we were surprised when we got the check. It turned out to be almost 100 euros for a 4-person lunch. I wouldn't recommend this place. The food wasn't bad, but it's over-priced and we left feeling like we were cheated.

Do not come here. This food is terrible and there's way better places in Venice. The bread tasted stale, the pizza was average at best. The octopus salad was without taste. But at least we got our food quickly, which is why it gets two stars. I haven't received the check yet but I bet it's going to be expensive. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Tourist trap.

We visited S Aponal Ristorante, in Venezia, Italy. We love the outdoor seating that Aponal offers. The hostess was reluctant to seat us after hearing our response to whether we would eat dinner or just have drinks. We responded that we will have drinks and some appetizers.. After she pondered it for a while...she allowed us to sit.. Our group ordered the Chicken Milinese (12 eur), Patate frite (5 eur), Salsa Pizza (12 Eur), and a bottle of the house red (eur 17). The Salsa pizza had salami, sausage and mushrooms. It tasted meh.. The Patate frite's had no seasoning (meh). We asked for salt, ketchup and mayo to fix them up..but never got it..asked again with no luck.. My friend had to ask for the manager then they brought it out. The casa vino rosso was good. The chicken Milinese was a hit..my two friends loved it.. Didn't appreciate the 2 eur per person cover charge to sit there.. There are too many other restaurants to visit in venice.. My recommendation for this one is...keep on walking.. I bit the bullet for you, this time.

Nothing special . I've had better seafood and pizza back in NJ! Portions are full of lettuce and potatoes rather than seafood!
